About Us

 Smarter Spaces LLC was founded in 2011 by Diane Gambrel. We recognized that some people seem to be naturally organized, while others struggle with piles of stuff or overflowing closets.  We started by offering general home organizing. 

We quickly discovered that many people who are disorganized also struggle with ADHD/ADD, so we got training from both NAPO (National Assn. of Productivity and Organizing Professionals) and ICD (Institute for Challenging Disorganization) so that we can better help clients in that situation. 

 Seniors struggle with their own issues that can be age-related or pain-related. Again, ICD had just the classes we needed. Seniors are now a major segment of our business. 

In 2016, we began speaking to groups. Diane gives educational talks, including to the Minnesota Hoarding Task Force about her experiences helping clients who hoard.  She also speaks to groups that work with seniors or those who hoard, including police groups, in-home care assitants, and financial workers.

In 2019, we added long distance (virtual organizing) services. We realized that there are parts of Minnesota that have no professional organizers. Yet people everywhere need help, and many can be helped using virtual organizing procedures.

• We can offer ways to stay organized by creating maintenance procedures, improving habits, and rethinking the importance of the stuff in your life.
